A great trip from start to finish! We toured highlighted spots in/around Boquete, and the trip included hot tamales for breakfast, passion fruit/papaya tasting at a local market, delectable strawberry treat stop, a custom made coffee at a local grower (yummy frappucino) another stop at a local chocolaterie, and all the while taking in the beautiful surroundings including rivers and waterfalls! The bikes were in excellent condition, staff were very informative and communication was prompt and helpful. We covered a lot of area on this safe, quick paced tour. Bicycling experience is helpful as is appropriate clothing. Highly recommended.
We did the 9am - 4 hr Flavor of Boquete tour with Lara as our guide. It was just my husband and I with Lara. We went up to the Boquete sign, then down to the Boquete park (delicious tamales), then over to the market with many farmer stands and tried delicious vegetables/dessert, then we headed out of town, stopped at a waterfall and then took the big hill to Altieri Speciality Coffee where we had coffee ice cream with caramel. This was my favorite part as the scenery was beautiful. We headed back down towards Boquete and stopped at a side store and had strawberries. Then back on the bikes into the city for some chocolate and ending at Soul Planet Cycles for a beer. We saw so much, went to areas we may not have on our own and the food was good. I highly recommend this tour.
I did solo touring. Vinnie set me up, and I rode around for close to 4 hours. What a fantastic way to explore the beautiful but steep terrain. This was definitely a highpoint of my Boquete stay.
