What an incredible gem! It was our first time in Central America and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The staff, rooms, food where all amazing. You know it’s good when you are planning your next visit before you even leave. I highly recommend Los Establos to anyone visiting Boquete!

My stay was everything I could have ever wanted and more!! This is literally the best vacation/getaway for you and your friends/family. The service was excellent all the way from the beginning with Josephina all the way to Jean Paul who is the entire heart of Los Establos. Jean Paul remembered all of our needs and wants and went above and beyond to provide the best service I have ever received in my life and I have been in the service industry for years. Every single experience we had booked was not only professional and courteous but punctual as well. Let's not even talk about how amazing the food is! It was always made fresh and to our liking. This is going to be my dream stay when I come back for sure!

Our vacation stay at Los Establos was amazing in every way imaginable. The property is lush and beautiful with impeccable landscapes grounds and amazing views of the mountains and Volcan Baru. Our visit was in late May, which was at the beginning of the rainy season for the region and the long range forecast was 100% chance of rain every day. Don’t let that deter you. Yes - it rained every afternoon, but overall the weather was quite lovely. It’s so consistently comfortable that there are no thermostats in the rooms. The hospitality at Los Establos is warm and welcoming…all staff members go above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of their guests. All of our tour experiences were first rate. We chose the hanging bridges tour and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Panamanian ecosystem and eagerly shared numerous interesting stories about the history of the Boquete region. Same with the coffee tour, which included tastings of seven varieties including the renowned Geisha coffee. Our favorite tour was a beautiful hike into the Quetzal habitat where our experienced guide did indeed spot a nesting bird and we were treated to a rare sighting. The meals at the on-site restaurant were so varied and delicious that we didn’t feel the need to venture into town for a lunch or dinner. The dinner menu changes daily and the chef took great pride in her wonderfully prepared and presented desserts. NOTE: like many others, we used a certificate from the affiliated promotion company which requires purchase of their all-inclusive package. But for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks along with a choice from numerous daily activities and tours with experienced guides, it was easily worthwhile given the overall quality of our experience. If you’re considering a visit to Panama, we highly recommend a stay at Los Establos Boutique Resort.

This is an incredible place with the kindest and most helpful staff we have ever encountered. They went out of their way to help always with smiles and politeness. Grounds beautiful, rooms and common areas spotless, food terrific. They were always o top of everything and the included activities are excellent also with kind and totally competent and informative people. I wish I could give them 10+ stars. Many thanks to all!!!
